Trace Maker, a graphic user interface showing a functional haptic device schematic with four pressure sensors.
I developed a graphic user interface (GUI) in where the user intuitively creates on-demand functional electronic devices. To create an electronic device, the user simply selects a desired component and places it in the workspace by cliking on the white canvas. The user can add as many components as needed, connecting the components by clicking on the canvas. Users can cross lines by using tunnels, shown as orange dotted lines, enabling the creation of complex circuits. The GUI data is printed using custom python functions capable of interpreting any circuits drawn and converting it into a 3D printed soft and stretchable electronics design.
